Shopping Terms and Conditions

  1. VAT: All prices are exclusive of VAT at 17.5% and will be added to all invoices.
  2. All goods are sold as described and for the purpose intended.  No returns will be accepted for goods wrongly ordered unless authorised and must be returned at your own expense. Returns will be refunded the cost of the goods less a 10% handling charge for packaging also less our cost of shipping provided they are in original packaging and fit for resale.
  3. Please ensure all orders are checked on receipt for shortages or damage. Claims have to be made within 48 hours of your delivery as recorded by our carriers or a claim will be refused.
  4. Tradesman Electrical Distributors will in no way be liable for any costs incurred due to faulty goods or shortages such as electricians fees, time taken off work etc.
  5. We cannot accept responsibility or return of goods incorrectly wired or connected to a power supply. Please always consult a qualified Electrician if in any doubt.
  6. Delivery charges: FREE Delivery for Mainland UK Parcels (Orders under £50 excluding vat, will be charged £5.99 + vat). Orders over 30kg may incur an extra charge. 
  7. Delivery: Charges extra for Northern Ireland, Southern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Scottish Isles, & Isle of Man. Channel Isles. 
  8. Deliveries: Unless excluded by you on the order, we will always require an authorised signature when delivering goods to you. Additional attempted deliveries will incur extra charges and a delay in delivery.
  9. Whilst Tradesman Electrical Distributors will try to ensure that prices on our shopping site are accurate, we are not responsible for errors that may occur. If we discover any errors in the price of goods or on the invoice after delivery, we will notify you as soon as possible and give you the option to re-charge your order at the correct price or cancel the order.
  10. We reserve the right to charge extra for delivery if the wrong delivery option is selected on your original order.
  11. Incorrect Address Details: You might incur additional costs for lost or re-delivered goods.

  13. Lamps and Tubes: All light fittings that are sold complete with lamps or tubes are on the basis that the Lamps and Tubes are supplied free of charge and are therefore excluded from warranty or damaged on delivery replacement. Due to the very delicate nature of these products we are unable to supply replacements free of charge.
